Schools can bring a group of ten students in S1/S2

The TeenTech Festival is a sharply focused event that changes perceptions and helps students understand their own potential. It’s a day that changes minds – especially those who may never have previously considered a career in science or technology!

Schools can bring a group of ten students who have taken part in the virtual event on Wednesday 7th June. They will bring their project to the TeenTech Festival on Wednesday 30th August where they will receive feedback from experts and also participate in a series of lively challenges and activities which bring the world of science and technology to life.

We will provide downloadable resources and participation packs to schools after registration.

Festival Booking Terms and Conditions

There is no booking fee for this event but because there are a limited number of places at this event, and we want to make sure that every school has the opportunity to register, please let us know ASAP if you are no longer able to attend and please note our cancellation terms, which are:

• Cancelling within 20 days of the event/Non-attendance on the day of the event: £500 fee

Participation Criteria

As this event is in partnership with the University of Strathclyde, and part of Young Strathclyder programme designed to widen access to higher education, 75% of the participating pupils should meet at least one of the following criteria.

• Pupils who live in an SIMD 0-20 or an SIMD 21-40 postcode area (click here to learn more)
• Pupils who are care experienced
• Estranged pupils (click here to learn more)
• Refugee or asylum seeker pupils
• Pupils with caring responsibilities
• Low-income Family
• Family in receipt of benefits
• Other adverse circumstances
