TeenTech/OCR Masterclass Live: Augmented Reality Week 1 (An Introduction to AR)

During this introductory session, experts will join us to tell us about their exciting work on Augmented Reality projects. We will cover the latest developments in Augmented Reality and the Metaverse. This session will inspire and excite students about this technology’s potential and demonstrate how related technologies (AI, Machine Learning, sensors and data) can enhance an AR experience. We will also take students behind the scenes of Bloc Digital. This creative studio creates AR, VR and Mixed Reality applications, and they will explain the key differences between these technologies and the experiences they offer.

Please Note: This session is part of a four-part programme. Please register for all the sessions, if you can.

Augmented Reality Masterclasses Supported by OCR

Join us for a special programme of free workshops and activities, designed to support students (and their teachers) enrolled in their Cambridge National qualification, and give younger students a taste of the course content. We’ll be featuring industry experts from film, television and gaming, and spotlighting the skills needed to have a successful career working in the field of Augmented Reality.

TeenTech Innovation Live sessions bring the digital, scientific and engineering world to life for students aged 11-19. They focus on opportunities within a specific sector with input from local and national employers, with opportunities for students to work on real-world projects.
