Described by one teacher as the best trip I’ve been on in ten years of teaching, the inaugural TeenTech Festival at the Amex stadium really packed a punch.
Students, teachers and ambassadors praised the quality of the interactive challenges and companies were struck by the high level of engagement and the fresh thinking of young people from over 20 different schools in the region.
It’s been so brilliant to work with Lisa Mobbs, Penny Daly and the West Sussex, Brighton & Hove Careers Hub and a highly committed steering group to create a vibrant festival that brought together so much talent.
The team from lead sponsor London Gatwick said “It felt like an event that really cared about the kids. The range of activities, companies attending, and the atmosphere was amazing. It was brilliantly organised, and watching shy students come out of their shells and express brilliant ideas was very heartwarming.”
We are so grateful to all our wonderful sponsors, without whom this inspiring launch would have been impossible. Alongside London Gatwick, big thanks to West Sussex, Brighton & Hove Careers Hub via The Careers & Enterprise Company Thakeham Roche Diagnostics UK & Ireland University of Sussex, Rampion Offshore Wind and Sussex & Surrey Institute of Technology
