TeenTech are enormously grateful to have been awarded funding from the Garfield Weston Foundation to support our work with young people across the UK. This will make a significant difference to the delivery of both new and existing programmes which bring the world of science and technology to life for students who may have dismissed career opportunities in those areas as ‘not for me’.
TeenTech CEO Maggie Philbin says, ‘Over 150,000 young people have taken part in our programmes and we are so proud of their engagement and achievements. This generous donation will enable us to reach more underrepresented communities and to inspire and support the innovators of the future’
From the outset, TeenTech has listened hard to young people, creating the programmes they tell us are most needed. We live in a fast-changing world and our mission is to make sure every young person has access to opportunities which develop the personal qualities and skills which will not only equip them for, but enable them to shape, Tomorrow’s World.
Thank you to the Garfield Weston Foundation for your support which will enable us to develop and improve our work.
