Our TeenTech Awards Patient Safety Technology Challenge, supported by Pittsburgh Regional Health Initiative, got off to an inspiring start at Microsoft HQ, with incredible student ideas from Derby, London, Reading and Wokingham, alongside eye-opening demos from Microsoft and their partners, Kainos and Nuance.
As well as getting hands-on with cutting-edge technology, students worked on their ideas for tackling real-world problems for the new TeenTech Awards Global Challenge category to improve patient safety worldwide. Students spent time developing their projects alongside industry experts, imagining how they could incorporate the latest advancements in technology to create practical solutions.
A massive thank you to the students and their teachers for coming along and sharing their ideas for the future of Patient Safety and healthcare, and to all the ambassadors and employees for their valuable support and feedback and for making the day so engaging and successful.
We are looking forward to our second Innovation Hack, taking place at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, this week.
