It’s the first day of TeenTethics, and we’ve brought together a brilliant group of young people and organisations to begin exploring ideas for the project. Big thanks to The Digital Catapult who’ve generously donated their venue for an exciting day of “lightning talks” and workshops. Organisations include Arup, Atkins, BBC, BMNT, BT, Cardiff University, Digital Catapult, IBM, King’s College London, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Bristol, University of Nottingham, University College London Hospital, RAiUK, Rolls-Royce, Scientia Scripta, South Central Institute of Technology, TeenTech, Royal Academy of Engineering, Verizon, and Wincanton.

Young people are sharing thoughts on what works and what doesn’t work when people come into their schools. Companies are giving swift case studies of where they’ve faced difficult ethical decision-making in innovation.

And then we have an afternoon of fast prototyping…

We’ll share photos and videos as the day progresses. If you’d like to be part of the project – do register, and we’ll give you the dates of the subsequent events.

In the meantime, we’re all enjoying a coffee and a sensational view…
