TeenTech Sussex 2024 Festival
Amex Stadium Village Way, Brighton, England, United KingdomThe TeenTech Sussex Festival is a sharply focused event that changes perceptions and helps students understand their own potential. It’s a day that changes minds – especially those who may never have previously considered a career in science or technology! Schools can bring a group of ten students who have taken part in the virtual event on Wednesday 16th October 2024. They will bring their project to the TeenTech Sussex Festival on Wednesday 13th November 2024 where they will develop their project further, receive feedback from experts and also participate in a series of lively challenges and activities which bring the world of science and technology to life.
TeenTech Cardiff 2024 Festival Virtual Innovation Live Event
The TeenTech Cardiff Festival will bring together schools across the region for an exciting interactive programme to help young people understand the range of opportunities across digital, science and technology, and the many different entry points. Upfront of the in-person TeenTech Festival event, we will run this virtual TeenTech Innovation Live session on Ethical Innovation. This session is open to as many students as you like. This could be an entire class or year group. This session is online with guest contributors working in contemporary industry. The livestream can be viewed from a screen in several classrooms, or a large hall if appropriate. Students can interact by submitting questions throughout the live stream; these questions come to the TeenTech team, who sends them to the presenter to ask on screen. Students are then set an innovation challenge, where they will devise solutions to address real-world problems connected to the session topic. Schools can then bring a group of ten students who have taken part in this event to the TeenTech Cardiff Festival on Thursday 5th December 2024 (at the All Nations Centre), where they will receive feedback from experts and also participate in a series of lively challenges and activities which bring the world of science and technology to life.

All Nations Centre Sachville Avenue, Cardiff, Wales, United KingdomThe TeenTech Cardiff Festival is a sharply focused event that changes perceptions and helps students understand their own potential. It’s a day that changes minds – especially those who may never have previously considered a career in science or technology! Schools can bring a group of ten students who have taken part in the virtual event on Thursday 21st November 2024. They will bring their project to the TeenTech Cardiff Festival on Thursday 5th December 2024 where they will develop their project further, receive feedback from experts and also participate in a series of lively challenges and activities which bring the world of science and technology to life.
TeenTech MTI Festival Virtual Innovation Live Event
The TeenTech MTI Festival, for schools in North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire, will bring together schools and colleges across the region for an exciting interactive programme that will help young people understand the range of opportunities across digital, science and technology, and the many different entry points. Upfront of the festival we will run a live virtual innovation session after which students will work in teams to create a project to make life better, simpler, easier or more fun, on the topic of sustainability. This session is open to as many students as you like. This could be an entire class or year group. This session is online with guest contributors working in contemporary industry. The livestream can be viewed from a screen in several classrooms, or large hall if appropriate. Students can interact by submitting questions throughout the live stream, these questions come through to the TeenTech team who send them through to the presenter to ask on screen. Students are then set an innovation challenge, where they will come up with ideas to address real-world problems connected to the session topic of Sustainability, Robotics, Transport and Energy.
TeenTech DMU Festival Virtual City of Tomorrow Live Build Day (Years 7 and 8)
Upfront of the festival we will run a live virtual TeenTech City of Tomorrow Live Build Day after which students will work in teams to create a building for the safer, smarter and kinder city of tomorrow.
TeenTech Lancashire Festival Virtual Innovation Live Event
Upfront of the festival we will run a live virtual innovation session, on the topic of AI and Cybersecurity, after which students will work in teams to create a project to make life better, simpler, easier or more fun. This session is open to as many students as you like. This could be an entire class, or year group. This will be an hour-long session, online with guest contributors working in contemporary industry and will feature guests showcasing exciting aspects of their work. The livestream could be viewed from a screen in several classrooms, or large hall if appropriate. Students can interact by submitting questions throughout the live stream. These questions come through to the TeenTech team, who send them through to the presenters to ask on screen. Students are then set an innovation challenge, where they will come up with their solutions to address real-world problems connected to the session topic. Schools can then bring a group of ten students who have taken part in this event, to the TeenTech Lancashire Festival on Thursday 19th June at Edge Hill University where they will receive feedback from industry experts and participate in a series of lively challenges and activities which bring the world of science and technology to life.

They will bring their project to the TeenTech MTI Festival on Thursday February 27th 2025 where they will receive feedback from experts and also participate in a series of lively challenges and activities which bring the world of science and technology to life.

De Montfort University The Gateway, LeicesterSchools can bring a group of ten students who have taken part in the virtual event on Tuesday 4th February 2025. They will bring their project to the TeenTech Festival on Tuesday 11th March 2025, where they will receive feedback from experts and also participate in a series of lively challenges and activities which bring the world of science and technology to life.
TeenTech DMU Festival (Years 9 and 10)
De Montfort University The Gateway, LeicesterThis session for Year 9 and 10 students will include a series of hands-on activities which will enable them to meet a range of employers in digital, science, technology and engineering. There will be workshops providing insight into the wide range of STEAM careers and the different university or apprenticeship programmes that could lead them there. This also includes a tour of the campus where students will be able to ask questions about university life.
