This free event is part of our Creativity Inside programme, supported by the Amazon Regional Creative Fund. Through creative media masterclasses and workshops, students will learn from industry professionals across film, TV, gaming, advertising, music, and fashion. All participants receive ongoing support to develop their own projects for the TeenTech Awards, helping them build skills and explore pathways into creative industries.
Create your own playable game in this hands-on masterclass led by a professional games developer—the first in a series of three sessions with increasing complexity. Using block programming, you’ll be guided step-by-step through building a simple game from scratch, with no prior coding experience needed! Learn fundamental programming concepts while adding core game mechanics like scoring systems, lives, and timers. Discover how games are made from initial idea to playable prototype, and gain skills you can use to develop your own gaming projects. By the end of the session, you’ll have created your own working game to share and build upon.
You will be sent joining details closer to the date of the event. If you need to cancel your place, please revisit this page, or you can manage all of your bookings from the My Events page.
