We were delighted to be presented with the Tech4Good Special Award yesterday. To follow in the footsteps of Wikipedia and RaspberryPi is a massive honour and to receive it in the company of so many inspiring organisations was very humbling.
We all feel very, very proud and would like to thank Abilitynet for the award, Liz Williams from BT for the lovely citation and @arnavsharmauk for the brilliant trophy.
It’s a true celebration of the imagination and dedication of whole extended TeenTech family – the team, the regional partners, students, the teachers, the sponsors and over 2000 volunteers who work together so cleverly.
It was also a lovely touch to invite Craig Doyle to chat to Maggie about what winning the award means.
Well done to you all.
As a regular consumer of TeenTech, your work gives me loads of hope for the future and the progress our next generation of innovators will be making.
Keep up the great work – you’re an example to us all.
