Do you have a passion for digital artwork, graphic design, animation, music or film? Our new Creative and Digital Media category celebrates the creativity of young people, giving you the opportunity to produce work to showcase your skills.
Perhaps you have a love of animation and would like to write and produce a short film, either digitally or through stop motion? Or maybe you are a gamer with an innovative idea for a new game and you would like to develop your concept? Perhaps you are a musician who wants to create digital soundscapes to showcase your audio design skills? Or maybe you have an idea for a transmedia experience, combining different platforms and mediums to tell a story?
This category is wide open and designed to showcase your creativity and interests. We will be supporting this category with TeenTech Live Innovation Days throughout the year, with industry experts from all areas of the media and entertainment industry.
In addition to submitting the creative project, you should also submit a short written piece of work detailing your creative process (Where did the idea come from? Why did you pick film/animation/art/music as the media form for your idea?), your use of tools (What software did you decide to use? Were there limitations? What have you learnt?), contact with industry experts, and tell us what you have gotten out of the process.
