DESCRIPTION:Schools can bring a group of ten students in Years 8-9\nThe TeenTech MTI Festival\, for schools in TeenTech North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire\, is a sharply focused event that changes perceptions and helps students understand their own potential. It’s a day that changes minds – especially those who may never have previously considered a career in science or technology. \nThis year’s theme is Smart Futures: Tech That Moves Us. Join us at the MIRA Technology Institute for a hands-on TeenTech Festival where Year 8 and 9 students explore the exciting world of innovative technology\, robotics\, and sustainable transport. From AI-powered cars to wearable health tech\, students will tackle real-world challenges\, meet industry experts\, and discover how their ideas can shape the future. \nIf you are participating in this event\, you can also register for the optional up-front TeenTech MTI Festival Virtual Innovation Live Event on Tuesday 27th January. You can check which events you have registered for by clicking here. We recommend schools sign up for both the virtual session and the festival but it’s not compulsory.\nSchools can bring a group of ten students. If those students took part in the optional virtual session\, they will bring their project to the TeenTech Festival on Thursday 26th February where they will receive feedback from experts. All students will participate in a series of lively challenges and activities which bring the world of science and technology to life. \nWe will provide downloadable resources and participation packs to schools after registration. \nFestival Booking Terms and Conditions\nThere is no booking fee for this event\, but because there are a limited number of places at this event\, and we want to make sure that every school has the opportunity to register\, please let us know ASAP if you are no longer able to attend and please note our cancellation terms\, which are: \n\nCancelling on or after Friday 6th February 2026/Non-attendance on the day of the event: £500 fee\n\nFull Booking Terms and Conditions for TeenTech Festivals can be viewed here.
