SUMMARY:TeenTech Lancashire Festival
DESCRIPTION:Schools can bring a group of ten students in Years 8-9\nThe TeenTech Festival is a sharply focussed event that changes perceptions and helps students understand their own potential. It’s a day that changes minds – especially those who may never have previously considered a career in science or technology. \nIf you are participating in this event\, you can also register for the optional up-front TeenTech Lancashire Festival Virtual Innovation Live Event on Wednesday 5th February. You can check which events you have registered for by clicking here. We recommend schools sign up for both the virtual session and the festival but it’s not compulsory.\nSchools can bring a group of ten students. If those students took part in the optional virtual session\, they will bring their project to the TeenTech Festival on Thursday 19th June where they will receive feedback from experts. All students will participate in a series of lively challenges and activities which bring the world of science and technology to life. \nWe will provide downloadable resources and participation packs to schools after registration. \nEarly registration is advised. After 28th March\, we will offer schools that have already registered extra places. \nPlease note: This event is only open to schools in Lancashire. Unfortunately\, we cannot invite Merseyside Schools to this particular Festival\, but please watch our website for further opportunities. \nFestival Booking Terms and Conditions\nThere is no booking fee for this event\, but because there are a limited number of places at this event\, and we want to make sure that every school has the opportunity to register\, please let us know ASAP if you are no longer able to attend and please note our cancellation terms\, which are: \n\nCancelling on or after Friday 6th June 2025/Non-attendance on the day of the event: £500 fee\n\nFull Booking Terms and Conditions for TeenTech Festivals can be viewed here.
