SUMMARY:Creativity Inside: Digital Media Programme Launch Event
DESCRIPTION:Supported By \n \nWe’re thrilled to announce a new project\, Creativity Inside: Digital Media Programme Launch Event\, for secondary students\, which we’re running with the support of the Amazon Regional Creative Fund. \nStudents across the UK will have access to creative digital masterclasses with leading employers in the Spring and Summer Term\, highlighting ways students can develop skills and pursue their creative ambitions. \nOur virtual events are a fantastic opportunity to meet people working across film\, TV\, advertising\, music\, fashion\, and gaming. All students will be given ongoing support to help them develop their own projects for the TeenTech Awards. We recommend schools sign up for both the virtual session and the festival\, but it’s not compulsory.\nSchools can bring a group of ten students who have taken part in the virtual event on Tuesday\, 21st October 2025. DESCRIPTION:This session is open to as many students as you like in Years 8-9\nThe TeenTech Sussex Festival will bring together schools across the region for an exciting\, interactive programme to help young people understand the range of opportunities in digital\, science\, and technology\, as well as the various entry points. \nIf you are participating in this event\, please also ensure you register for the in-person TeenTech Sussex Festival on Thursday\, 27th November 2025. You can check which events you have registered for by clicking here. We recommend schools sign up for both the virtual session and the festival\, but it’s not compulsory.\nUpfront of the in-person festival\, we will host this virtual TeenTech Innovation Live event\, after which students will work in teams to create a project that makes life better\, simpler\, easier\, or more fun on the topic of Future Technology. \nThis session is open to as many students as you like. This could be an entire class or year group. \nThis will be an hour-long morning session\, held online\, featuring guest contributors from contemporary industry who will showcase exciting aspects of their work. The livestream could be viewed from a screen in several classrooms or a large hall if appropriate. Students can interact by submitting questions throughout the live stream. These questions are safely received by the TeenTech team\, who then pass them on to the presenters to ask on-screen. Students are then set an innovation challenge\, where they build their own solutions to address real-world problems connected to the session topic. \nSchools can then bring a group of ten students who have taken part in this event\, to the TeenTech Sussex Festival on Thursday 27th November 2025 (at the Amex Stadium)\, where they will receive feedback from experts and also participate in a series of lively challenges and activities which bring the world of science and technology to life. If those students took part in the optional virtual session\, they will bring their project to the TeenTech Festival on Thursday 19th June where they will receive feedback from experts. All students will participate in a series of lively challenges and activities which bring the world of science and technology to life. \nWe will provide downloadable resources and participation packs to schools after registration. \nEarly registration is advised. After 28th March\, we will offer schools that have already registered extra places. \nPlease note: This event is only open to schools in Lancashire.
