TeenTech Innovation Live/OCR: Animation Masterclass 2 (Production)

Today we’ll start creating our animations, and we’ll be getting some advice from experts. Join us for a practical masterclass session where we’ll be showcasing the free tools you can use to create an animation of your own. You can ask us questions, live, and we’ll help you get ready to film your very own Animation! We’ll also be speaking to Dave Brain (Animator and Visual Effects Artist), the son of Terry Brain who worked on Wallace and Grommit, Chicken Run, Creature Comforts, The Trap Door and more. With contributions from pixel art artist, Gary Lucken (Minecraft, Kynseed).
Animation Masterclasses Supported by OCR
Join us for a special programme of free animation activities, designed to support students (and their teachers) enrolled in their Cambridge National iMedia qualification, and give younger students a taste of the course content. We’ll be featuring industry experts from film, television and gaming, and spotlighting pre-production, production and post-production skills.
We encourage you to sign-up your students for all of the events in the series, as they are designed as a complete course – from post-production, through production, and finishing up with post-production, helping them create their own animations. What is TeenTech Innovation Live?
TeenTech Innovation Live sessions bring the digital, scientific and engineering world to life for students aged 11-19. They focus on opportunities within a specific sector with input from local and national employers, with opportunities for students to work on real-world projects.
